Zwolle / Berlin, Oct 1st 2025 — Sollit, the long-proven Dutch SaaS provider for renewable energy installers, and Zolar, Germany’s leading AI platform for solar installations, are joining forces to accelerate the energy transition across Europe. Sollit has acquired Zolar Installer Services, marking the beginning of a new chapter for both companies, collaborating and innovating on a shared mission to empower installers across Europe, small to large, driving the green transformation.
Creating the winning AI-powered SaaS platform for Europe’s installers
Together, Sollit and Zolar are building Europe’s leading AI-powered software platform for renewable energy companies. Sollit sports over a decade of proven success, supporting more than 1,000 businesses with its all-in-one operational platform for solar, heat pump, EV charger, and battery installations. Zolar adds its AI-driven Flow platform, digital marketplace, and over eight years of hands-on installer experience in the German market — having already partnered with more than 700 installers and enabled the generation of over 113 million kWh of clean electricity.
For customers, this means:
- Higher efficiency and profitability: from first lead to completed installation, powered by AI.
- Smarter workflows: AI automates design, planning, and project execution.
- More demand: qualified leads flow directly from Zolar’s digital marketplace into installers pipeline.
- One scalable platform: built to grow with you, from small businesses to large enterprises.
A unique combination
By joining forces, Sollit and Zolar are creating something truly unique in the European market:
- An AI-powered operating system for installers: Sollit’s all-in-one platform (CRM, quoting, design, planning, execution, service) combined with Zolar’s Flow AI for faster, smarter and more accurate project design.
- Built-in customer demand: Zolar’s marketplace ensures a steady stream of high-quality projects flowing directly into the Sollit platform so installers can focus on delivery instead of lead chasing.
- One platform, all trades: Solar, batteries, heat pumps, EV chargers, and more — managed in a single connected environment.
- Smarter, more profitable growth: From first customer contact to completed installation and long-term service, every step becomes faster, more predictable, and more profitable.
Sollit provides the backbone, Zolar provides the intelligence and demand. Together, they form Europe’s leading AI-powered software platform for the energy transition.
“Over the past decade, we’ve built a trusted platform that helps companies thrive in the renewable energy market,” says Erik-Jan van de Worp, co-founder of Sollit. “By teaming up with Zolar, we’re accelerating that journey. Together, we’ll empower businesses across Europe with an AI-powered software platform that makes them stronger, smarter, and more future-proof.”
“Zolar’s mission has always been to make installers more digital, efficient, and competitive,” adds Torben Schwellnus, CEO of Zolar. “Now with Sollit, we’re lifting that mission to a European level: Together with Sollit, we’re helping installers to move away from software that they have to operate towards a platform that operates for them and helps them continue to lead Europe’s energy transition.”
A smooth transition for customers
For now, both platforms — Sollit and Zolar Installer Services — will continue to run independently. Nothing changes for existing customers. In the coming months, Sollit and Zolar will merge into one powerful platform, combining the Sollit operational software, and Zolar’s AI-driven, modular Flow platform and marketplace. The result: a unified solution that helps installers work faster, earn more, and grow — from first customer contact to completed installation and long-term service.
