PVX Mounting Systems launches calculation tool for safer solar cable management
PVX Mounting Systems introduces the PVX Calculator, an online tool for calculating the correct support distance for cable management in solar energy systems, regardless of brand or type.
According to the Dutch company, the tool—developed for installers, inspectors, and insurers—is a world first.
Mathematical certainty
The new PVX Calculator is based on advanced calculations using FEM analysis and wind certification, allowing users to rely on technically validated results. This enables them to determine the optimal distances for wire mesh trays, conduits, and M8 applications on various roof types and walls.
Where installers previously depended on manual calculations and assumptions, the new tool offers an automated and certified solution.

After entering the project details, the calculator instantly generates a PDF report containing all project information and calculated values. With a single click, users can also request the corresponding wind certificate, which is directly linked to the FEM data and wind load standards.
