Apex Power Supplies launches new AEG plug-in home battery

At Solar Solutions Düsseldorf on 3 and 4 December, Apex Power Supplies shows its new AEG plug-in home battery. The launch starts with a clear focus on the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The system is meant for homes that already have solar panels and want to use more of their own power, without extra wiring or a long day of work for the installer.

Key specs
The AEG plug-in battery connects to a standard wall socket and starts at 4.8 kWh of storage, with the option to expand to 14.4 kWh. The built-in inverter can charge and discharge up to 2.4 kW. Together with the HomeWizard P1 meter, the battery follows real-time consumption, solar production and, where used, dynamic tariffs, so stored energy is used when it makes sense.
