In traditional systems, users have to worry about mixing batteries and the differences caused by age, capacity, and voltage output. When older batteries can't perform, newer batteries have to pick up the slack.

That limits the capacity to the weakest battery module, starting a cascade of issues. The battery management system can't balance SoCs, resulting in overheating and potential battery damage.

Fortunately, the Innovative Energy Optimizer gives each battery module independence, so they can be managed, charged, and discharged by themselves. The Anker BMS allows each battery to charge and discharge at optimal operating voltage for peak performance.

This design also eliminates the negative effects of overcharging and over-discharging, stopping energy losses and keeping users safe while they power.
