Anker SOLIX launches its first EV Charger with the V1

2025 . 10 . 09
The Anker SOLIX V1 EV Charger uses an intelligent charging strategy to optimize costs and achieve up to 58% annual savings compared to basic EV chargers [2]. Based on real-time data such as Nord Pool electricity prices, driving habits, vehicle battery status, and excess solar energy, the system automatically creates personalized charging plans. With full integration of time-of-use and dynamic pricing models, users can always charge at the lowest available rates. The Anker App shows real-time price trends, making smart energy use easy and accessible.
Lower charging costs with solar and storage
When combined with an energy storage solution like Anker SOLIX X1 or the Solarbank Multisystem, users can reduce charging costs even further by using their own green energy. The system can switch seamlessly between solar power and the grid, or use both at the same time, to always prioritize the most efficient source. Even with third-party PV or storage systems, the EV Charger can be integrated through a compatible smart meter such as the Anker SOLIX Smart Meter or Shelly Smart Meter, enabling smart use of low-cost grid electricity and available solar energy.
Convenient energy management on the device and in the app
The Anker SOLIX V1 is designed for quick and easy everyday charging. The plug rotates and can be operated with one hand. Charging is controlled with Anker’s patented IntelliGesture™ technology — simple gestures on the smart touch display start charging within seconds, even with your hands full.
The Anker App allows users to access the V1 anytime, anywhere: check live charging status, change modes, and set schedules. When combined with an Anker SOLIX storage system and smart meter, every home becomes smart and energy-efficient. Users can see at a glance how much solar energy is being generated, how full their storage is, how much money they’ve saved, and take full control of their home energy.
Efficient design and maximum safety
The Anker SOLIX V1 is available in three versions with maximum charging capacities of 7.4 kW, 11 kW, and 22 kW. It supports 230 V for the small version and 400 V for the medium and large versions. The V1 is also available as a wallbox with an integrated 5-meter cable. For EVs with their own charging cable, a cable-free wallbox version is available, with additional safety protection via the app. The V1 is compatible with 99.9% of all EVs.
The housing measures 36 cm × 21.1 cm × 12.5 cm, fitting any home wall, garage, or carport. With three wiring entry points (top, bottom, back), installation takes just three steps and 15 minutes: mount the base, route the cable, attach the housing.
For flexible placement, even in open garages, the V1 is designed to operate in temperatures from -30°C to +50°C, and it is IK10 impact-resistant as well as IP65 (cable version) / IP55 (cable-free version) waterproof.
Multiple sensors constantly monitor temperature to prevent overheating. Built-in A+DC 6 mA leakage protection plus 30 mA AC leakage detection ensures safety against DC and AC faults. With a 3-year warranty and 8-year lifespan, the V1 delivers durability and reliability.
More solar, more savings: smart combo with X1
Charging an EV requires a lot of energy. To save money, it’s best to use your own solar power. The Anker SOLIX V1 works seamlessly with the Anker SOLIX X1, a highly flexible, modular, and scalable home storage system designed for residential and small business applications. Combined, the two can deliver up to 83% annual savings [3]. With a maximum capacity of 180 kWh (six systems in parallel), the X1 offers far more adaptability than conventional storage, making it ideal for households and SMEs with changing energy needs. Its ultra-slim all-in-one design is 40% thinner than traditional storage, allowing elegant installation even in limited spaces.
Together with the V1, smart and cost-saving charging becomes possible: making use of dynamic tariffs, switching between solar and grid power, and maximizing self-consumption. With its scalable design and seamless integration with smart energy devices, the X1 is a future-ready solution for anyone wanting to optimize energy use and prepare for e-mobility.
Optimized strategies with Solarbank Multisystem + Anker Intelligence™
The EV Charger can also be connected to the Anker SOLIX Solarbank Multisystem. The Power Dock, which connects up to four Solarbank units in parallel, has a dedicated port for the EV charger.
The new Solarbank Multisystem is a modular energy solution, easier to install, more flexible, and more cost-effective than traditional balcony or home storage. With up to four Solarbank units in parallel, it achieves about 14 kW solar input, 4.8 kW output, and up to 64 kWh expandable capacity — ideal for users seeking an affordable solution to gradually increase self-consumption.
Combined with the EV charger, solar power is used even more efficiently. Depending on the number of panels and storage capacity, households can save hundreds of euros per year. Installation of the EV charger is also simple: once the Power Dock is installed by an electrician, users can connect and set up the V1 themselves, avoiding extra installation costs.
When connected with one or more Solarbank 3 Pro units, charging and energy use are further optimized through Anker Intelligence™, the AI-based energy management system. It analyzes usage patterns, weather forecasts, solar production, and battery status to create a dynamic strategy for energy distribution and storage. One key function is solar forecasting: the Solarbank 3 Pro predicts excess solar energy based on weather data and adjusts EV charging and household consumption accordingly, ensuring that all available solar energy is used efficiently.
